GREAT FALLS, SC - Mr. Steven Maxwell Lowery, also known as “Stevie” or “Steve”, age 62, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2026, at home. Born on April 9, 1964, in Columbia, SC, he was a son of the late Earl Raymond Lowery and the late Margie Lowery Plyler.

Stevie was a humble and giving man who never hesitated to lend a helping hand. He had a special love for music, and if there was an opportunity to play the drums, he was always ready to sit down and make some music. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially camping. Some of his fondest times were spent at Sutton’s Landing on Lake Wateree.

Stevie is survived by his son, Hunter Lowery; his sister, Janet Boone (Ricky); two brothers, Tommy Lowery and Roger Lowery; his four stepchildren, Caleb "Hawk" Jackson, Day Jackson, Jojane Jackson, and Bethany Lucas; two grandchildren; extended family members and friends; and his beloved dog, Jack.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl Lowery and Margie Plyler; a brother, Mike Lowery; and a sister, Karen Eagle.
