INDIAN LAND, SC – Mr. Steven Karl Lee, age 82, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born May 8, 1941, in Coral Gables, FL, the son of the late Dorothy Boone Lee and Karl Lee. Steve Lee was a Butcher and Meat Manager at Publix for over 50 years. He enjoyed golfing and was a grill master but enjoyed fishing the most. His greatest joy in life was his family and he deeply cherished all of the family gatherings. Steve Lee was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He was a loyal Florida Dolphins Fan.

Steve Lee is survived by his wife of 53 years, Susan Connell Lee: two daughters, Jennifer Michelle Lee Herlong (Dan), and Beth Allison Lee; two sons, Christopher Karl Lee (Leighanne), and Patrick Steven Lee (Amanda), all of Waxhaw, NC; ten grandchildren; Alison, Ryan, Jewel, David, Jamie, Cory, Malaina, Brenner, Jackson, and Vivia; his devoted step/chosen father, Ted Mach; a brother, Edmond Mach; his loyal defender, Spike Lee; and his life long friends.

Steve Lee was preceded in death by his mother, father, and brother Michael Mach.

A mass of Christian burial will be 1:00 pm Friday, September 29, 2023, at the historic chapel of All Souls Catholic Church in Sanford, FL.
