INDIAN LAND, SC :::::::::: Mr. Stephen L. Grote, age 67, died Sunday, August 19, 2012 at his home. He was born April 20, 1945 in Long Beach, CA, the son of the late Albert Grote and Irenee Victoria Fenimore Grote and was the husband of Charlotte Gardner Grote. Mr. Grote was a Pharmacist with CareNet, served our great country in the United States Navy and was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Mission Church.Mr. Grote is survived by his wife, Charlotte Grote of the home, Michelle Grote of CT, Rebecca Hayden of Indian Land, and Danielle Callahan of Cedar Point, NC, and 7 grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Grote will be 12 noon Saturday, August 25, 2012 at The Parrish House, 7031 Waxhaw Highway, Lancaster. The Family of Mr. Grote will receive friends at the home and in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Multiple Myelona Research Foundation at www.themmrf.org.
