LANCASTER, SC ~ Stanley Carson Griffin, 61, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at his home.  He was born June 11, 1957 in Monroe, NC, a son of the late Orin Carson Griffin and Jane Massey Griffin and was the husband of the late Deborah P. Griffin.  He was a carpenter, enjoyed hunting, fishing, loved the outdoors and woodworking.  He was a member of Springhill Baptist Church.

Mr. Griffin is survived by a son, Michael "Kevin" Griffin and his wife, Lauren of Lancaster; two brothers, Travis Griffin of Pageland and Stacy Allen Griffin and his wife, Michelle of Lancaster; a sister, Karen Griffin Steen and her husband, Danny of Jefferson; and four grandchildren, Tyler Griffin, Caleb Payne, Natalie Griffin and Brixton Griffin.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Brandon Carson Griffin.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Griffin will be 3:00 pm Sunday, March 31, 2019 at Spring Hill Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Brad Threatt.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 pm in the church fellowship hall and suggest memorial contributions be made to Spring Hill Baptist Church, 2245 Old Camden Monroe Highway, Lancaster, SC  29720.
