LANCASTER, SC ~ Mr. Stanley Lavern Chaney, age 77, passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021. He was born May 26, 1943, in Devils Lake, North Dakota, son of the late Philippina Norman.

Stanley is survived by his companion of 42 years, Helen O. Holden; daughter-in-law, Kathy Holden; sister, Deanna Wilson (Guy); stepchildren, Bobby L. Holden and Barry L. Holden; eleven grandchildren; and twenty-three great grandchildren.

Stanley was preceded in death by his daughter, Lavonna Chaney; his mother, Philippina; and stepson, Billy W. Holden.

The Celebration of Life Graveside Service for Stanley will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at Kershaw City Cemetery officiated by Rev. Cotton Pate. Please wear a mask to the service.
