LANCASTER, SC ~ Ms. Shirley Ann Plyler Hilton, age 77, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2019 with her daughters by her side.  She was born March 18, 1942, the daughter of the late Astor Plyler and Annie Mae Wallace Plyler.  Shirley was a busy, hardworking lady; she would say "there is always something to do".  She loved working in her yard, especially with her flowers.  Shirley loved the holidays and spending them with her family and she also loved to sing.  Her dog, Kale was her best friend and she loved him dearly.

Shirley is survived by two sons, Timothy Robin Hegler and Terry Rayford Hilton (Sundra); three daughters, Carla Rae Courtney (Todd), Marla Hilton Thompson and Teresa Hilton Blackmon (Jay); seven grandchildren, Casey Jordan Pate, Kholby Lawson Pate (Summer), Landon Carnes, Bobby Ray Hegler, Ashley Hegler, Brian Hegler and Jake Blackmon; and four great grandchildren.

Shirley was preceded in death by a son, Teddy Rayford Hilton; a granddaughter, Kayla Hilton; a grandson, Michael Blackmon; her parents; and her brother, Harold Jack Plyler.

The family will hold a private service for Shirley for immediate family only.  They ask that you please respect their wishes and give time to grieve and they request no flowers.
