LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Shirley Jane Ousterhout Dolphin, age 85, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2023. She was born November 25, 1938, daughter of the late Wallen Osterhout and the late Gladys Rose Barrett Osterhout Hyser and was the wife of the late John Joseph Dolphin. Mrs. Dolphin retired from Susquehanna Valley High School in Conklin, NY. She enjoyed shopping at flea markets, going to the beach, journaling, ceramics, and playing the piano. Mrs. Dolphin was a member of The Latter-Day Saints.

Mrs. Dolphin is survived by her four children, Mark Dolphin, and his wife Susan, Barrett Dolphin, Jolene Bollinger, and Karol Cronin; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Wally Osterhout (Daisy) and Robert Osterhout (Margaret); and a sister, Joan Vandermark.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Joseph Dolphin; and her parents, Wallen and Gladys Osterhout.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Dolphin will be held at a later date.
