LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Shirley Temple Hinson Adams, age 85, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021, at White Oak Manor in Lancaster. She was born December 31, 1935, in Lancaster, SC, the daughter of the late Judson Hinson and the late Lula Belle Roberts Hinson and was the wife of the late Bobby Gene Adams. Mrs. Adams was employed at Springs Industries for many years. She loved to travel with her dear husband. Mrs. Adams was a member at Westside Baptist Church.

Mrs. Adams is survived by her sister-in-law, Margaret Adams; her brother in-law, Clarence Adams; and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gene Adams; two children, Mitchell Adams, and Randy Adams; her parents, Judson Hinson, and Lula Belle Roberts Hinson Sutton; four sisters, Alice Carnes, Della Mae Horne, Annie Grace Boone, and Martha Robinson; and two brothers, Daniel Hinson, and Ernest "Bill" Hinson.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Adams will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Todd Robinson. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00pm- 2:00pm at Burgess Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to The Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
