LANCASTER, SC ~ Ms. Sherry Seward, age 65, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2018. She was born October 4, 1952 in Walton, New York, a daughter of Leonard Rutherford, Sr. and Helen Drumm Rutherford. Sherry enjoyed riding and taking care of her horses. She loved children and enjoyed working as a nanny. Sherry was a loving mother and grandmother.

Sherry is survived by her significant other, Jim Hunt; her parents; two sons, Brent Cole and his wife, Natalie, and James Seward, Jr. and his wife, Lisa; two daughters, Glenda Thompson Farrell and her husband, Scott, and Shannon Fairchild and her husband, Jack; five grandchildren, Marissa, James, Kinley, Christian and Jacklyn; three brothers, Leonard Rutherford, Jr., Steve Rutherford, and Brian Rutherford; a sister, Debbie Davis; and a very special extended family, Chris Causey and his wife, Ashley and their two children, Avery and Tyler.

Sherry was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Rutherford, Sr.; and two sisters, Wendy Banks and Glenda Rutherford.

The family will celebrate the life of Sherry at a later date in New York.
