LANCASTER, SC::::::::::: Mrs. Shelby Jean Roberts, age 70, died Friday, January 2, 2015. She was born July 31, 1944 in Chesterfield County, the daughter of the late Caulie W. Dixon and Ella Barefoot Dixon and was the wife of Bobby L. Roberts. She was a lifelong member of White Springs Baptist Church, where she served as a Youth Leader and a Sunday School Teacher. Mrs. Roberts enjoyed long walks, gardening, decorating, crafts and spending a lot of time with her family and grandchildren.

Mrs. Roberts is survived by her husband, Bobby L Roberts, a daughter, Debbie Gibson Mona and her husband Zeyad, a brother Edward Allen Dixon from Hartsville, SC, four sisters, Sylvia Byrd, Barbara Smith, Wanda Dixon, and Wynette Jordan all of Hartsville, SC, four grandchildren, Morgan, Ramsey, Ryan and Miranda Mona.

Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by a brother Charles Dixon and a sister Betty Watford.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Roberts will be 2:00 pm, Monday, January 5, 2015 at White Springs Baptist Church by Rev. Don Waldrop with burial to follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The Family of Mrs. Roberts will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 pm in the church fellowship hall.
