LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Shelby Neal Horne, age 85, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, March 5, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Eulece Neal and Macie Welch Neal and was the wife of the late Hoyle C. Horne. Mrs. Horne loved to witness to others about her Lord and Savior in Wal-Mart. She enjoyed going out to eat, and daily visits with her son Joel. She loved going to the beach and the mountains, spending time with her children and grandchildren, and her dog, Brandy. Mrs. Horne was a member of Flint Ridge Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing.

Mrs. Horne is survived by her two daughters, Lawana Bailey (Warren), and Renee Bauder (Paul); four grandchildren, Jenna Deese (Lucas), Brett Bailey, Brittany Bailey, and Paula Miller (Zach); six great-grandchildren, Hayden, Savannah, LJ, Brenton, Arielle, and Aydin; and two sisters, Jettie Mills, and Emily Cole.

Mrs. Horne was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyle C. Horne, her son, Joel Horne; her parents Eulece and Macie Neal; and her sister, Frankie Ann Horne.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Horne will be 3:00 pm Friday, March 11, 2022, at Flint Ridge Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Kelvin Hinson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, in the church sanctuary. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to Flint Ridge Baptist Church, 1850 Flint Ridge Rd, Heath Springs, SC 29058.
