LANCASTER, SC ::::::::::: Mrs. Sheila Jones Roberts, age 68, died Monday, January 9, 2012 at her home. She was born April 24, 1943 in Kershaw County, the daughter of the late Henry Calvin Jones and Evelyn Leona Adams Taylor and her husband Richard C. "Jake" Taylor and was the wife of the late Dwight L. Roberts. Mrs. Roberts was the current Pianist for Camp Creek Baptist Church and a retired Administrative Assistant. Mrs. Roberts' love of music included teaching Piano to hundreds of students and playing for several churches. Mrs. Roberts is survived by her children, Tina Stuber and her husband Steven of Lancaster, Elizabeth R. Sanders and her husband Scott of Lancaster, Katherine McRae and her husband Phil of Troy, NC, Randy Roberts of Lancaster, and Richard Roberts of Shelby, NC, a brother, Richard C. Taylor of Alpharetta, GA, 2 sisters, Carolyn Taylor and Eleanor Threatt both of Lancaster, 10 grandchildren, Steven Stuber, Elizabeth S. Crance, Anna Truesdale, Jesse Usher, Sarah Usher, Elijah Sanders, Phillips McRae, Jennifer Miracco, Dara Roberts and Emma Roberts, 1 great grandchild, Peyton McRae. Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by a brother, Joe R. Taylor and a sister, Janice Boltz. The Family will host a Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mrs. Roberts at 1:00 pm Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Camp Creek Baptist Church by Rev. Randy Mellichamp.
