LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Sharon Faile McCowan, age 56, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Atrium Health-Union.  She was born April 26, 1965, in Chateauroux, France, the daughter of Maria Canada Faile and the late Clarence Ormand Faile and was the wife of Belk McCowan.  Sharon enjoyed flowers, bird watching, and yard work. She had a heart of gold and enjoyed helping others and being a caregiver for her mother. Sharon was a hard worker. She loved the lord and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 37 years, Belk McCowan; her daughter, Anna McCowan; her son, Brice McCowan; her mother, Maria Faile; her brother, John Faile (Lori) of Colorado; her sister, Diana Broughton (Robert) of Lancaster; two sisters-in-law, Laura Baker (Mark), and Alysia Lester (J.R.); and many nieces and nephews.

Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Ormand Faile.

The Celebration of Life Graveside Service for Sharon will be 2:00 pm Friday, October 8, 2021, at Lancaster Memorial Park officiated by Rev. Tim Anderson. Family will greet friends following the service.
