LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Sharon Briscoe Marshall, age 72, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Caromont Health in Gastonia, NC.  She was born May 12, 1948 in Baltimore, Maryland, the daughter of Thurell William Briscoe and Sallie Lambert Briscoe and was the wife of the late Delrey Morris Marshall.  She retired from the Lancaster County School District after 30 years of service.  Mrs. Marshall loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and enjoyed attending concerts with her sons when they were younger. She was a wonderful cook and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.

Mrs. Marshall is survived by a son, Christopher Marshall of Lancaster; a daughter in law, Nancy Marshall of Gastonia; and seven grandchildren, Hunter Elizabeth Marshall, Todd, Kelly, Gina, Ricky, Kayla and Andrew.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Stacy Marie Marshall and a son, Stephen Allen Marshall.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Marshall will be 3:00 pm Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Immanuel Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Tim Anderson.  Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.
