LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Sharon Susanne Sims Hargett, age 58, passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2025. Born December 9, 1966, a daughter of the late Bobby Michael Sims and Peggy Horton Sims and was the wife of the late Stephen Eugene Hargett. Sharon, a cherished daughter, mother, and friend, was deeply loved by many. Her devotion to her family, particularly her father and her uncle, Lindy, was profound. Sharon found joy in the outdoors, often engaging in yard work, and frequently mentioned her affection for "the smell of cut grass in the springtime." Known for her boundless generosity, she never met a stranger and was always the first to offer a helping hand. She was a dedicated member of both Fork Hill Baptist Church and New Life Baptist Church.

Sharon is survived by her children, Christina M. Low (Josh), Tyler M. Glover (Felicia), and Katelyn I. Holland (Nicholas); her grandchildren, Travis Bledsoe, Tristan Bledsoe, Aubrey Bledsoe, Wrinley Grace Low, Addison Low, and Wrigley Low; her mother, Peggy H. Sims; and her stepmother, Terry Sims.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen E. Hargett; her father, Bobby M. Sims; her stepbrother, Christopher D. Sims; and her grandparents, Willie & Glennie Horton, and Clyde & Frances Sims.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Hargett will be held privately.
