INDIAN LAND, SC – Scott Bradley Young, age 50, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025, unexpectedly with his wife by his side. Born on October 13, 1975, the son of the late Louie Kent Young and the late Charlotte Pope Young and was the loving husband of Brooke Beckham Young.

Scott was a deeply devoted, larger than life, family man who built his world around "Team Young". His greatest strengths were his dedication to his wife of 22 years, Brooke; whom have known each other since they were 15 years old…he was always there for her, possessing an uncanny ability to anticipate her needs even before she voiced them. Also, his children, Hannah & Bradley, whom he loved with a passion and pride that words can't describe.

A true sports fanatic, his enthusiasm for the North Carolina Tarheels was legendary. He enjoyed spending time at the family mountain home, where he could be found confidently manning the grill or fishing by the river. His outgoing nature meant he genuinely never met a stranger, effortlessly connecting with everyone he encountered. He was a highly professional and effective presence in his sales/tradeshow career.

He is survived by his wife, Brooke Young; his daughter, Hannah Young; his son, Bradley Young; his brother, Brian Young and his wife, Diana, and their children, Alyssa and Dylan Young; his sister-in-law, Erin Blow and her husband, Jeremiah, and their children, Carter and Hunter Blow.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Scott will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlottle Highway, Lancaster, SC 29720. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service, at Burgess Funeral Home.
