LANCASTER, SC ~ Michael Scott Donahue, age 49, passed away Friday, December 30, 2020 at his home.  He was born May 13, 1971 in Lancaster, a son of Ronald Donahue and Geraldine Aldridge Donahue and the husband of Delphia Rena Donahue.  Scott was self-employed. He loved his Savior, his wife, and his family. He loved his church, Liberty Freewill Baptist Church, and his pastor, Preacher Tim Larrimore.  Scott loved working on old cars and restoring them.  He was an avid Clemson fan thru and thru.

Scott is survived by his wife, Rena; two sons, Preston Scott Donahue and Lemuel Chase Donahue of Hartsville; three step-sons, Jeremy David Jordon of Seneca, Braydon Patrick Jordon of Jefferson, and Blake Andrew Jordan of the home; one grandson, Mason Shane Jordan of Seneca; his parents, Ronald Donahue, Sr. and Geraldine Aldridge Donahue of Zebulon, NC; two brothers, Ronald "Dale" Donahue, Jr. (Cindy) of Greer and Jeffrey "Daniel" Donahue of Wilson, NC; a sister, "Gina" Michelle Donahue (Jon) of Zebulon, NC; and his father-in-law Leonard Eubanks of Goose Creek, NC.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lemuel J Donahue and Ida Mae Donahue; his maternal grandparents, William Clarence Aldridge and Etta Carol Knight Aldridge; and his mother-in-law, Dorotha Jean McCracken.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Scott will be at 3:00 pm Saturday, January 2, 2021  at Liberty Freewill Baptist Church,  officiated by Pastor Tim Larrimore.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Burgess Funeral Home, PO Box 1743, Lancaster, SC  29720 to help with funeral expenses.   Flowers may be sent to the home.
