LANCASTER, SC ~ Mr. Samuel Brent Watts, age 58, passed away Friday, March 23, 2018 at Carolinas Medical Center-Pineville. He was born October 11, 1959 in Lancaster, the son of Louie Watts and Lenore Smith Watts. He is the husband of Janie Walker Watts. Brent was self-employed in Property Management. He loved the outdoors. He enjoyed the beach, boating, shrimping, hiking, mountain biking and camping. Brent and his family loved going to Waites Island. He adored his family and Macy, his fur baby. Brent was a thoughtful and unselfish Christian man. He was a member of Second Baptist Church.

Brent is survived by his wife of 27 years, Janie; a son, Tyler Watts; a daughter, Katie Watts; his parents, Louie and Lenore Watts; a brother, Barry and his wife, Eron; a sister, Renea Watts Featherstone and her husband, Rob; and a large extended family.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be 3:00pm, Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Second Baptist Church by Pastor Brian Saxon and Rev. Larry Helm.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 7:00 pm Monday, March 26, 2018 at Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Highway, Lancaster, SC.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, Lancaster County Relay for Life, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210 or Second Baptist Church Youth Fund, 1426 Great Falls Highway, Lancaster, SC 29720.
