LANCASTER, SC – Samuel "Sammy" Harrison Edwards, age 51, passed away Monday, December 4, 2023. He was born, December 13, 1971, in Lancaster, a son of the late Eugene Franklin Edwards and the late Mary Frances Usher Edwards. Sammy was an outdoorsman, he loved hunting and fishing.

Sammy is survived by his brother, David E. Edwards (Dinar) of Lancaster; two sisters, Rachel L. Catoe (Dennis) of Lancaster, and Carol J. Napper of Kershaw; nieces and nephews; and his stepmother, Reba T. Edwards.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Mary Edwards; and a sister, Kay F. Dean.

A Celebration of Life Service for Sammy will be held at a later date.
