LANCASTER, SC ::::::::::Mr. Sammie Edward Hall, age 78, of 2709 Kirkover Drive, died Sunday, January 25, 2009 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. He was born September 1, 1930 in Lee County, the son of the late Monroe Hall and Bessie Lee Hall Hall. Mr. Hall was first married to the late Nancye R. Hall and is now the husband of Imogene Terry Hall. He retired from Springs Industries, served our great country in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a member of First Pentecostal Holiness Church.Mr. Hall is survived by his wife, Imogene Terry Hall of the home, 2 sons, Chad Boykin and Brian Boykin both of Lancaster, a daughter, Lisa Killian of Lancaster, an adoptive daughter, Linda Faulkenberry of Lancaster, 2 brothers, Thornwell "Bud" Hall and Reesel Hall also of Lancaster, 5 grandchildren, Kristen Boykin, Stephen Boykin, Courtney Boykin, Hope Killian and Samantha Killian, 1 great grandson, Gunnar Deas, and several nieces and nephews.The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Hall will be 3:00 pm Wednesday afternoon, January 28, 2009 at First Pentecostal Holiness Church by Rev. Jerald Starnes and Rev. Tim McKenzie with burial to follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.
