LANCASTER, SC ::::::::::: Mrs. Sally Ann Cody Harp, age 72, died October 3, 2013 at Springs Memorial Hospital. She was born February 1, 1941 in Lancaster County, the daughter of the late Jacob Everett Cody and Frances Morgan Cody and was the wife of the late John William Harp, Sr. Mrs. Harp retired from Josyln Clark Control and was of the Lutheran Faith.

Mrs. Harp is survived by a son, John William Harp, Jr. of Mount Vernon, Iowa, a daughter, Ann Marie Harp and her partner Kim Gaines of China Grove, NC, a brother, Frank Cody and his wife Debby of Conway, SC, a sister, Susan Cody and her husband Gary Williams of Sandston, VA, and 2 grandchildren, Annalise Harp and Bennett Harp both of Mount Vernon, Iowa.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mrs. Harp will be 3:00 pm Sunday, October 6, 2013 at Burgess Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Bill Sumner.

The Family of Mrs. Harp will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 pm Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Hwy., Lancaster. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Cornell College, 600 1st Street W, Mount Vernon, Iowa 52314 or Davidson Day School, Early Childhood Education Division, 750 Jetton Street, Davidson, NC 28036.
