LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::Mrs. Ruth Small Hinson, age 95, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Heath Springs Residential Care. She was born August 6, 1921 in Lancaster County and was the wife of the late Harry Lee Hinson. Mrs. Hinson retired from Springs Industries and was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Hinson is survived by a grandson, Lee Waters and his wife Rhonda of Lancaster; and two great grandchildren, Mychal Waters and his wife, Cam of Canada, and Allyssa Waters of Lancaster.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a son, Joel Lee Waters.

The Celebration of Life Graveside Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Kershaw City Cemetery by Rev. Curtis Cameron. The family will receive friends following the service and suggest memorial contributions be made to Special Olympics, 1133 19th Street NW, 12th Floor, Washington, DC 20036-3604.
