LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Ruth Pauline Crook Anderson, age 91, passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2021. She was born November 24, 1930, in Monroe, North Carolina, a daughter of the late Ruby Lee Hargett Crook and the late Hall Titus Crook Sr. Mrs. Anderson enjoyed going to the beach, gardening, and visiting friends. Mrs. Anderson attended Springhill Baptist Church.

Mrs. Anderson is survived by her son, Eddie Lee Anderson of Walhalla, SC; a granddaughter, Erica Renee Anderson; and a special friend, Anita Funderburk.

Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Marvin Anderson; her parents; her brother, Hall Titus Crook Jr; and a brother-in-law, Sample S. Anderson.

The Celebration of Life Graveside Service for Mrs. Anderson will be 11:00 am Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Lancaster Memorial Park officiated by Rev. Shawn Macy.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am – 10:45 am Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Burgess Funeral Home.
