Mr. Ronnie William Cairnes, Sr. age 55, died Wednesday, July 9, 2008. He was born December 3, 1952 in Hendersonville, NC, the son of Estelle Robertson Cairnes and the late Raymond Roy Cairnes, Sr. Mr. Cairnes was the operator of Cedar Creek Bait and Tackle Shop. Mr. Cairnes is survived by his mother, Estelle Robertson Cairnes of Lancaster, his companion, Joyce Sumner of the home, 2 sons, Charles Allen Cairnes and his fiance Monica Hinson of Lancaster, Ronnie William Cairnes, Jr. and his wife Melissa of Heath Springs, Joyce's children, Timothy R. Williams of Chester and Bobbie Jo and John Fisher of Rock Hill, 3 brothers, his twin Raymond R. Cairnes and his wife Diane, David Cairnes and his wife Kim, and Michael Cairnes and his wife Teressa, a sister, Linda Stegall and her husband Nathan all of Heath Springs, 5 grandchildren, Alyssa and Makayla Cairnes, and Carla and Devin Williams, and Camryn Fisher.The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Cairnes will be 2:00 pm, Saturday afternoon, July 12, 2008 at Camp Creek United Methodist Church by Rev. Mike Catoe with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Family of Mr. Cairnes will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Friday evening, July 11, 2008 at Hartley Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, Lancaster County Relay for Life, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210.
