INDIAN LAND, SC ~ Mr. Ronald "Ron" Douglas Johnson, age 82, passed away Monday, January 31, 2022, at his home. He was born January 28, 1940, in Machias, Maine, a son of the late Robert Johnson and Leola Sirois Johnson and was the husband of Anne C. Moreau de Tours Johnson.  Mr. Johnson proudly served his country for 22 years, serving 4 years in the United States Air Force and then serving in the National Guard Army Reserve.  His work in the military was very important to him and one he was most proud of. Mr. Johnson was very patriotic and supporting the United States troops, especially new soldiers, was something he thoroughly enjoyed.  He enjoyed fancy cars, working on his cars, working crossword puzzles, watching the news, and traveling with Anne.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife of 50+ years, Anne Johnson; two sons, Timothy Johnson and Thomas Johnson; three daughters, Catherine Eiess (Bob), Shari Conger, and Lisa Kruizinga (Clay); and four grandchildren, Aurora Komins, Shane Komins, Danielle Hanselman, and Cameron Conger.

Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Terrence Johnson; and a sister, Marie DeLucas.
