LANCASTER, SC ~ Mr. Ronald "Ron" Gordon Annett, age 81, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at White Oak Manor Lancaster. He was born June 17, 1940, in Pontiac, Michigan, a son of the late John Gordon Annett and Phyliss Grace Levitt Annett and was the husband of the late Doris Young Annett. Mr. Annett was all about his music. He enjoyed playing the saxophone and harmonica, singing karaoke, making cd's for others of his music, and dancing. In his younger years, he enjoyed painting cars and motorcycles. Mr. Annett was a socialite and just loved being around friends and family. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Throughout his career, he worked for General Motors, Volkswagen, and as Property Manager for the family owned business in Florida. Mr. Annett and his wife resided in many places during their lives together, which included Warren, OH, West Virginia, Homosassa Springs, FL and retired to Rock Hill, SC. Family was very important to Ron; he always enjoyed his time with them and he will be missed greatly.
Mr. Annett is survived by his two sons, Steve Annett (Debbie) of Huntington, WV, and John Annett of Rock Hill, SC; his daughter, Sharon Pallone (William) of Lancaster, SC; four grandchildren, Mechelle, Jessica, Zach, and Jordan; two great grandchildren, Amiah and Dreyton; three sisters, June Mutersbaugh, Cathleen Annett, and Gail Annett; and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Annett was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Annett; his parents; and his brother, Bill Annett.
The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mr. Annett will be 11:00 am Monday, October 4, 2021 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Larry Helm. Burial of his and his wife's remains will take place at a later date at Lancaster Memorial Park Columbarium.
