LANCASTER, SC – Mr. Rodney Michael Watts, age 54, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2024. He was born November 26, 1969, in Lancaster, son of Carolyn Stacks Watts and the late Michael Lee Watts. Rodney was an avid Tarheel fan and Dale Earnhardt fan. He enjoyed going to the beach with family. Rodney was a jokester, a people person, and just loved to have fun and be with friends and family.

Rodney is survived by his mother, Carolyn Watts; his brother, Chris Watts (Kendra), two nephews, Ryan Watts and Brady Watts; special aunt, Elaine Mills, special cousin and hairdresser, Krystal Mills, aunts and uncles, Debbie and Dennis Stacks, Debbie and Charles Watts, Clyde Watts, Lane Wright, and Helga Watts; many cousins, and his very good friends, Kevin Thompson, Robert Gibson, and Cecil Catoe.

He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Watts; aunt, Nina Jo Wright; and uncles J.C. Watts and Jack Watts .

The Celebration of Life Service for Rodney will be 2:00 pm Sunday, January 14, 2024, at Bethlehem Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Patrick Blackmon. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, in the church family life center.
