LANCASTER, SC ~ Mr. Robert "Robbie" Michael Plyler, age 64, passed away Friday, November 25, 2022. He was born July 22, 1958, in Lancaster, a son of the late Reece Malcolm Plyler and Clara Robinson Plyler and was the husband of Vickie Laney Plyler. Robbie was previously employed with Continental Tire.  He was a member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church where he enjoyed singing in the choir and served with Salkehatchie for over 20 years.   Robbie was a caring, kind, and loving person who would help anyone. He loved Gamecock and Carolina Panthers football, NASCAR, and history.  Robbie enjoyed cooking, making others laugh, spending time with his dogs, Beau and Dex, and riding his motorcycle.

Robbie is survived by his wife of 36 years (together 43), Vickie L. Plyler; two brothers, Randy Wuori (Louise) and Phillip Plyler; a sister, Kathryn Dawson; a special niece that was more like a little sister than niece, Misti Wuori; and nieces and nephews.

Robbie was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Reece Malcolm Plyler, Jr.

A celebration of life funeral service will be held at a later date.  For those who wish, memorials may be made to Tabernacle United Methodist Church, 5908 Tabernacle Rd., Lancaster, SC 29720.
