LANCASTER, SC :::: Mr. Robert Morrison Plyler, age 80, died Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Springs Memorial Hospital. He was born June 5, 1934, the son of the late William Roland Plyler and Mildred Funderburk Plyler and was the husband of the late Marjorie Estridge Plyler. Mr. Plyler retired from Springs Industries, was a member of Springdell Baptist Church, and served our great country in the US Army.

Mr. Plyler is survived by a son, Dale Plyler and his wife Debbie, a brother, Jerry Plyler and his wife Phyllis and a granddaughter, Alison Hinson and her husband Michael all of Lancaster.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Plyler will be 11:00 am Friday, July 25, 2014 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home by Rev. Donald Tillman and Rev. Charles Hammond. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The Family of Mr. Plyler will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 am Friday, July 25, 2014 at Burgess Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or www.stjude.org .
