Lake Wateree SC:::::::::: Mr. Robert H. Moore passed away peacefully Friday, April2, 2010. Born to Samuel Moore and Lena Howie Moore, February 2, 1920 in Weddington, NC. He is survived by his wife Jerri of Lake Wateree and his son, Robert G. Moore of Charlotte, NC and a sister, Hazel Wier of Fredericksburg, VA and an adopted daughter, Jeanette Robinson and her husband Morrison and very special friends, Jack and Barbara Owens. He was a veteran of WWII seeing action in the European Theater with Eighth Army Infantry Division - "The Gray Bonnets". He was employed with the Seaboard and CVX Railroad as an Engineer for 44 years. He was a Mason and Shriner, and was a member of Liberty Hill Presbyterian Church being the oldest male member. A Celebration of Life Graveside Funeral Service for Mr. Moore will be 2:00 pm, Monday, April 5, 2010 at Lakeland Memorial Park by Dr. Eugene Rollings. The family will receive friends at the home and in lieu of flowers suggest memorial contributions to Liberty Hill Presbyterian Church, PO Box 170, Liberty Hill, SC 29074 or Human Society of Camden.
