LANCASTER, SC :::::::::: Mr. Robert Laney McManus, age 76, died October 25, 2013 at his home. He was born July 7, 1937, the son of the late Bunyan Creth McManus and Sally Ruth Funderburk McManus and was the husband of the late Peggy McManus. Mr. McManus was owner and operator of McManus Used Car and Parts, a member of Springhill Baptist Church and attended Oak Hill Baptist Church.

Mr. McManus is survived by a son, Wayne McManus and a daughter, Angie M. Griffin and her husband Buddy both of Lancaster.

The Celebration of Life Graveside Memorial Service for Mr. McManus will be 3:00 pm, Monday, October 28, 2013 at Springhill Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Brad Threatt and Rev. Cliff Henson.

The Family of Mr. McManus will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service in the fellowship hall at the church and suggest memorials be made to Springhill Baptist Church, 2245 Old Camden Monroe Hwy., Lancaster, SC 29720 or Oak Hill Baptist Church, 6437 Oak Hill Church Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
