INDIAN LAND, SC – Mr. Robert James Griffith, age 77, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, December 3, 2022. He was born October 9, 1945, in Toledo, Ohio, a son of the late Warren Griffith and Florence Entenmann Griffith and was the husband of Sharon McMahon Griffith. Robert loved playing golf and was a member of the Personnel Invitational Golf Society (PIGS). Family was most important to Robert, he was a loving devoted husband, father, and grandfather.  He enjoyed bird and butterfly watching and just completed building a butterfly garden.

Robert is survived by his wife of 22 years, Sharon Griffith; his children, Matthew Griffith (Kate), Michael Griffith, Michele Griffith, and Adam Anaya (Christine); eight grandchildren, Jacob Griffith, Madeline Griffith, Austin Geller, Jared Little, Jenna Griffith, Jayden Little, Parker Anaya, and Emily Anaya; his former wife, Nancy Stebbins; three sisters, Joan Overcashier (Harry), Janet McClintock (Rob), and Carol Matthews (Mike); and a large extended family.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Richard Griffith.

The Celebration of Life Service for Robert will be private. The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 5:00 pm Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Burgess Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lancaster SPCA, PO Box 3042, Lancaster, SC 29721.
