ROCK HILL, SC :::::::::: Robert Lee Gregory, age 90, died Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at Agape Senior Rehab where he was a resident. He was born January 27, 1919 in Pageland, SC and was the husband of the late Connie Outen Gregory. Mr. Gregory retired from Springs Industries and as a Tax Practitioner, was a Mason with Jackson Masonic Lodge #53, and a member of Grace Presbyterian Church.Mr. Gregory is survived by his caregiver, Phil Genry and his wife Susan of Fort Mill, 3 grandchildren, Phillip C. Genry, Jr., Amy Denise Genry and Amanda Leigh Genry and 2 great grandchildren, Phillip Evan Genry and Erin Addison Genry.Mr. Gregory was preceded in death by a daughter Sylvia Gregory Gentry.The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Gregory will be 3:00 pm, Friday, August 28, 2009 at The Chapel of Hartley Funeral Home. Entombment with Masonic Rites will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park Mausoleum. The Family of Mr. Gregory will receive friends from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Friday, August 28, 2009 Hartley Funeral Home and in lieu of flowers suggest memorials be made to Grace Presbyterian Church, 1026 Grace Avenue, Lancaster, SC 29720 or Thornwell Children's Home, South Broad Street, Clinton, SC 29325.
