LANCASTER, SC::::::::::::: Mrs. Robbie Marshall White, age 83, of 158 Woodside Lane, died Friday, February 5, 2010 at Carolinas Medical Center. She was born November 6, 1926 in Lancaster County the daughter of the late Samuel Marshall and Cora Baker Marshall and was the wife of James Edward White. Mrs. White retired from Springs Industries, was a lifelong member of St. Luke United Methodist Church, member of Golden Agers and loved her family, friends, church, vegetable garden and her flowers. Mrs. White is survived by her husband of 66 years, J. Edward White of the home, 2 sons, Gerald White and his wife Wanda, and Kevin White both of Lancaster, 2 daughters, Sylvia Crenshaw and her husband Doug, and Nancy Gainer and her husband Howard both of Lancaster, 9 grandchildren; Darren Crenshaw, Brian Crenshaw and his wife Tricia, Andrea McIsaac and her husband Wesley, Stephen White and his wife Staci, Robin White, Greg Gainer, Tony Gainer and his wife Laura, Jamie Gainer and his wife Leslie, and Casey White, 11 great grandchildren, 5 sisters, Myrtle Hagins, Ida Mae Ellis, Elizabeth Harper, Sara Joyce Griffin and Gladys Moore, and a brother, Sammie Marshall.Mrs. White was preceded by 3 brothers, Frank, Boyce and George Marshall and a sister, Kathleen Harper.The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mrs. White will be 3:00 pm, Sunday, February 7, 2010 by Rev. Kyle Randle at St. Luke United Methodist Church. The Family of Mrs. White will receive friends immediately following the service and in lieu of flowers suggest memorial contributions be made to St. Luke United Methodist Church, 128 Providence Road, Lancaster SC 29720.
