LANCASTER, SC :::::::: Mrs. Robbie Hinson Thomas, age 86, died November 22, 2012 at her home. She was born May 7, 1926 in Lancaster County, the daughter of the late George Dewey Hinson and Blanche Hinson Hinson and was the wife of the late Daniel Pinckney Thomas. Mrs. Thomas retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Mrs. Thomas is survived by 2 sons, Wayne Thomas of Lancaster and Steve Thomas and his wife Leticia of St. Peter's, Missouri, 2 brothers, Nolan Hinson and his wife Shirlene and Danny Hinson both of Kershaw, 2 sisters, Margaret Phillips and Glenda Faulkenberry of Lancaster, 2 sisters in law, Oleen Hinson Adcock and Eloise Hinson both of Kershaw, 2 grandchildren, Sylvia Congleton and her husband Jeff of Wentzville, MO and Stephanie Thomas of St. Louis, MO, 1 great grandchild, Sophia Ann Congleton, and numerous nieces and nephews.Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Carol Thomas, a daughter in law, Gay Jackson Thomas and 2 brothers, Howard Lee Hinson and Mack Hinson.The Committal Service for Mrs. Thomas will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, November 25, 2012 at Lancaster Memorial Park. Immediately following, the family will return to Hartley-Burgess Funeral Home Chapel for a memorial service at 3:00 pm by Rev. Frankie Melton and Rev. Brian Humphries. The Family of Mrs. Thomas will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home and suggest memorial contributions be made to Grace United Methodist Church, Building Fund, PO Box 418, Lancaster, SC 29721.
