LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Rita Diane Stacks Lynn, age 66, passed away, Thursday, October 10, 2024. She was born January 31, 1958, in Lancaster, SC, a daughter of the late Rayford James Stacks and Eunice Irene Jenkins Stacks. Rita loved shopping and decorating.  Her home looked like something out of a magazine. She was a caring, loving, kind, generous, giving, hardworking person who loved her family dearly. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church.

Rita is survived by her fiancé, William "Bill" Donald Knight, Jr.; children, William Christopher "Chris" Knight (Brittany) and Derek Ray Knight; grandchildren, Hunter Jaxson Knight, Izabella Nadalyn-Rae Knight, William Alexander "Alex" Knight, and Zaidyn Hunter Spinks; daughter-in-law, Megan Spinks; sisters, Debra Sue Whitten (Everett) and Rose Stacks Threatt; mother-in-law, Phyllis June Knight; brother-in-law, James Boyce Powers; very close great niece, Kayson Baker; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack Lynn; her parents; brother, James Richard "Ricky" Stacks; sister, Jackie Stacks Powers; her nephew, Teddy Hall; and brother-in-law, Jerry Threatt.

The Celebration of Life Service for Rita will be 10:00 am Friday, October 18, 2024, at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Buddy Thomas. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.
