Obituary
RICHBURG, SC::::::: Mr. Richard "Ricky" Curtis Humphries, Sr., age 62, died Friday, July 25, 2014 at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House. He was born October 10, 1951 in Lancaster County, the son of the late Alex B. Humphries and Betty Lou Pressley Humphries. Mr. Humphries retired from Armstrong Industrial and was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
Mr. Humphries is survived by a son, Richard C. Humphries, Jr. and his wife Michelle of Lancaster, 2 daughters, Tonya Humphries and Samantha Humphries both of Richburg, a brother, Bert Carter, 6 sisters, Gloria Boone and her husband Ronnie of Lancaster, Loriane Bronson and her husband Bill of Walterboro, Helen Morales, Rachel Carter, Julie Smith and Mary Eisenberg, 6 grandchildren; Aiden, Daylynn, Laney, Tori, Ashley and Matthew Humphries and Jessica Stivers, and a great grandchild, Cameron Stivers.
Mr. Humphries was preceded in death by a sister, Patsy Keffer.
A Service of Remembrance Memorial Service for Mr. Humphries will be 12:00 pm Monday, July 28, 2014 at Ebenezer Baptist Church by Rev. Ronnie Boone.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorials to be made to Ebenezer Baptist Church, 4214 Old Church Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
