LANCASTER, SC :::::::: Mr. Richard Strait "Frog" Davis, Jr., age 57, went to be with the Lord on Sunday June 23, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center. He was born October 21, 1955 in Lancaster County, the son of Annie Hilton Davis Floyd and the late Richard Strait Davis, Sr. and was the husband of Julie Garland Davis. Mr. Davis had previously worked for Winn Dixie and Walmart and attended First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Lancaster.

Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Julie Garland Davis of the home, his mother, Annie Hilton Davis Floyd and her husband Ken of Lancaster, 2 stepsons, Brandon Dunn of Columbia, SC and Kevin Dunn of Monroe, NC, a brother, Chris Davis and a sister, Vicki Brazell both of Lancaster, and 3 step grandchildren, Andrew, Triston and Lacey Dunn.

Mr. Davis was preceded in death by a brother in law, Rev. Allen Brazell.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Davis will be 12:00 noon, Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at First Pentecostal Holiness Church by Rev. Jerald Starnes, Rev. Lonnie Brazell and Rev. Dwight Brazell. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The Family of Mr. Davis will receive friends one hour before the service, from 11:00 - 12pm at the church and suggest memorial contributions be made to Agape Hospice of Lancaster, 815 West Meeting Street, Lancaster, SC 29720 or First Pentecostal Holiness Church Men's Ministry, PO Box 256, Lancaster, SC 29721.
