LANCASTER, SC :::::::::: Ret. MSG Derrell M. Reynolds, Sr., age 72, of 2311 Hough Road, died Saturday morning, November 1, 2008 at Springs Memorial Hospital. He was born June 21, 1936 in Lancaster, the son of the late Douglas Reynolds and Geneva McManus Reynolds and was the husband of JoAnn Horton Reynolds. Mr. Reynolds, Retired Master Sergeant, served our great country in the United States Army; having served in embassies in Tehran, Iran; Bangkok, Thailand; and Ankara, Turkey; he also retired from Equifax, and was a member of Second Baptist Church. Mr. Reynolds was survived by his wife, JoAnn H. Reynolds of the home, 3 sons, Derrell M. Reynolds, Jr. of Lancaster, Timothy Reynolds and his wife Sue of Lancaster, Michael Reynolds and his wife Ashley of Cookeville, TN, 2 daughters, Debbie Paskoff and her husband Paul of Indian Land, and Pamela Wilson and her husband Harold of Lancaster, 3 brothers, Alan Reynolds of Rock Hill, Randy Reynolds and Danny Reynolds both of Lancaster, 3 sisters, Carree Dargo of Annapolis, MD, Judy Gladden of Elgin, SC and Karen Neal of Lancaster, 5 grandchildren, Monica Harris and her husband Robert, Mary Rathel and her husband Lee, Courtney Batson and her husband Tyler, Dylan and Gabriel Reynolds, and 3 great grandchildren, Karli Rathel, Summer Batson, and Charlotte Harris.The Celebration of Life Graveside Service for Mr. Reynolds will be 3:00 pm, Monday, November 3, 2008 at Lancaster Memorial Park by Dr. Brian Saxon and Rev. Larry Helm. The Family of Mr. Reynolds will receive friends from 4:00 - 6:00 pm Sunday evening, November 2, 2008 at Hartley Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions be made to American Lung Association, PO Box 7000, Alberta Lea, MN 56007-8000 or Second Baptist Church, Building Fund, 1426 Great Falls Hwy., Lancaster, SC 29720.
