LANCASTER, SC ~ Ms. Renee Deese Salters, age 60, passed away Monday, June 4, 2018 at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill. She was born September 3, 1957 in Lancaster, a daughter of Patricia Pat Vincent Deese and the late Dewey B. Deese. Renee loved to travel and especially enjoyed going to the beach. She loved her grandchildren and cherished her time with them. Renee was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

Renee is survived by her mother, Pat; a son, Blake Salters; a daughter, Kelly Steen and her husband Paul; three grandchildren, Bailee Steen, Gavin Steen and Greer Steen; a special companion, Roger Hinson; two brothers, Randy Deese and Tim Deese; two sisters, Kathy Allen and her husband, Marshall and Patti Reynolds and her husband, Jeff; many nieces and nephews; a step-son, Jamie Salters; and a step-daughter, Crystal Robinson.

Renee was preceded in death by her father, Dewey; and a brother, Richard Deese.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Renee will be 11:00 am, Thursday June 7, 2018 at Grace United Methodist Church by Rev. Jerry Phillips and Rev. Doug Pate. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday June 6, 2018 at Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Hwy., Lancaster, SC and suggests memorial contributions be made to Nephcure Kidney International, 150 S.
