LANCASTER, SC ::::::::::: Mrs. Rebecca "Becky" Adkins Taylor, age 69, died Monday May 7, 2012 at her home. She was born January 11, 1943 in Chester County, the daughter of the late Hazel Clarence Adkins and Ruby Rebecca Hawkins and was the wife of Richard Taylor. Mrs. Taylor was a retired medical receptionist and a member of Sprindell Baptist Church. Mrs. Taylor is survived by her husband, Richard Taylor of the home, a son, Gregg Varnadore and his wife Ulrike of Columbia and Tracy Varnadore and his wife Vonda of Lexington, a daughter, Marianne Taylor of Florence, 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mrs. Taylor will be 11:00 am, Thursday, May 10, 2012 at The Chapel of Hartley Funeral Home by Rev. Donald Tillman. Inurnment will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park. The Family of Mrs. Taylor will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 am Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Hartley Funeral Home and in lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to Springdell Baptist Church, 1420 Springdell Church Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
