LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Rebecca "Beckye" Graham Ballard, age 84, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at her home.  She was born October 18, 1934, the daughter of the late George Lester Graham and Sarah Stevenson Graham and was the wife of Charles M. Ballard, Sr.  Mrs. Ballard loved all of her Himalayan cats.  She bred Himalayans for over 35 years.  She also loved orchids.  Mrs. Ballard was a member of Douglas Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Ballard is survived by her husband of 66 years, Charles Ballard; a son, Charles M. Ballard, Jr. (Mallory); a daughter, Jan Painter: three grandchildren, Madison Painter, Davis Painter, and Charles M. Ballard, III (LaDonna); and one great grandchild, Ellis Ballard.

Mrs. Ballard was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Georgia Long and Nancy Slough.

The Celebration of Life Graveside Service for Mrs. Ballard will be 3:00 pm Friday, September 20, 2019 at Douglas Presbyterian Church Cemetery officiated by Rev. Harriss Ricks.
