LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::Mrs. Reba Robertson Beaver, age 99, died Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Lake Wylie Assisted Living. She was born February 21, 1916 in Yancy County, NC, a daughter of the late Cleophas Woodfin Robertson and Mallie Silver Robertson and was the wife of the late Harry William Buck Beaver who predeceased her in 1985. Mrs. Beaver enjoyed reading her Bible and doing word search puzzles. Her appearance was always very important to her and she loved to wear jewelry and scarves. She was a seamstress and made custom drapes, enjoyed gardening and decorating. She was an active member of Second Baptist Church in her earlier years having taught Sunday school, served as WMU President and was a member of Oasis.

Mrs. Beaver is survived by her children, Sandra B. Miller White and her husband, Rev. Raymond White of Lake Wylie and Monty G. Beaver and his wife, Carol of Lancaster; seven grandchildren, Donna Leigh Miller of Rome, GA, Steve Miller and Sara Lynn of Swannanoa, NC, Jamie and Jenny B. Greenway of Rock Hill, and Kevin and Julie B. Paden of Lancaster; her grandchildren by marriage, Connie White Jones, David Jones, and Dennis White and his wife, Becky and their daughter, Madison; ten great grandchildren, Madison Miller, Garrett Miller, Jacob Greenway, Sean Greenway, Kaylie Paden, Jasmine Paden, Connor Paden, Katelyn Paden, Jonathan Paden, and Chadwick Paden, and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Beaver was preceded in death by her sister, Virgie Robertson; six brothers, Roy Robertson, Earl Robertson, Clyde Robertson, Thurman Robertson, Carroll Robertson, and C.W. Robertson, Jr., and a son-in-law, Alfred L. Miller.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Beaver will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, February 21, 2016 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home by Rev. Larry Helm. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home and suggest memorial contributions be made to Second Baptist Church, 1426 Great Falls Highway, Lancaster, SC 29720.
