LANCASTER, SC::::::::: Mr. Raymond Paul Biscuit Crompton, age 37, died Friday, March 18, 2016 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. He was born June 6, 1978, in Lancaster, the son of Neal Crompton and the late Katie Sims Crompton and was the husband of Courtney Spencer Crompton. Mr. Crompton was employed with FedEx Freight in Charlotte. He received a Bachelors of Science degree from Newberry College and a Masters of Business Administration from Grand Canyon University. He loved golf and playing football at Lancaster High School, North/South Team and Newberry College. He truly loved spending time with his son, Eli, and his dog, Cooper. Mr. Crompton was a member of Covenant Baptist Church.

Mr. Crompton is survived by his wife, Courtney Spencer Crompton; a son, Eli Nix; his father, Neal Crompton and his wife, Cheryl; a grandmother, Betty Cooper; two sisters, Dawn Mayfield of Kershaw and Misty Crompton of York; six nieces, Elizabeth Mayfield, Katherine Mayfield, Charley Threatt, Brittany Tucker, Payton Faile, and Madison Johnson; a nephew, Blake Tucker; and a great nephew, Liam Schneider.

Mr. Crompton was preceded in death by his mother, Katie Sims Crompton.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Crompton will be 3:00 pm Monday, March 21, 2016 at Covenant Baptist Church by Dr. Bert Welch and Rev. Jason Burley. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 3:00 pm Monday, March 21, 2016 at Covenant Baptist Church and other times at the home of Ron and Donna Johnson, 4230 Flint Drive, Lancaster, SC.
