Obituary

LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Raye Anne R. Ford, age 72, passed away Friday, February 4, 2022. She was born May 8, 1949, in Muskegon, MI, a daughter of the late Robert Albert Reno and Ruth Anne Webber Reno and was the wife of William Gene Ford, Sr. Mrs. Ford retired from Witco Corporation as an Office Manager. She later earned her LPN Certification and went into Private Duty Nursing. Mrs. Ford loved her family, crocheting, and baking. She will be remembered for her love of Christ and others. Mrs. Ford was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Mrs. Ford is survived by her husband of 20 years, William Gene Ford, Sr.; three sons, Stephen Oborne (Sandi) of Wyandotte, MI, Robert Oborne (Diane) of Colonial Beach, VA, and Michael Oborne (Kristyn) of Marble, NC; two daughters, Sarah Ott (Lowell) of Lancaster, SC and Patty Lemaster (Bob) of Warren, OH; three brothers, Robert Reno (Sharon), Richard Reno (Nancy), and Roger Reno (Debbie); twenty five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; special friends, Wanda Kelly, John and June Ammons, Dennis and Ann Groves, Fred and Edie Taylor, and Ruth Hughes;  a large extended family and many friends.

Mrs. Ford was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ruth Reno, and her late husband, Jerome Arthur Oborne.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mrs. Ford will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at Trinity Baptist Church located at 1519 Steel Hill Rd, Van Wyck, SC 29744, officiated by Rev. Ricky Cope.
