LANCASTER, SC ~ Mr. Ray Miller Knight, age 73, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at his home. He was born November 12, 1944 in Lancaster, a son of the late Otis Miller Knight and Virginia Starnes Knight. Ray loved riding and taking care of his horses and enjoyed raising chickens. He was a loving father and a member of Eastside Baptist Church.

Ray is survived by his son, Jimmy Ray Knight; a fiance, Betty Baker; a brother-in-law, Jasper Burr; a godson, Jason Tolbert; and several nieces and nephews.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents; a wife, Elaine Robinson Knight; two sisters, Sara Burr and Pearlie Mae Wright; and several half siblings.

The family would like to say a very special thank you to Agape of Lancaster for the great care their nurses and CNAs gave to Ray.
