LANCASTER, SC – Randy Hill Gay, age 67, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Atrium Health- Pineville.  He was born February 24, 1955, in Lancaster, son of the late Herman Gay and Viola Hill Gay.  Randy was the husband of Kay Robinson Gay.  He loved his family, spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, hunting, camping, and the beach.  You could find him wherever his grandchildren were.  Randy loved the outdoors.  He was the owner and operator of R &G Tractor and Landscaping.

Randy is survived by his wife of 49 years, Kay Gay; two sons, James Gay (Ellise), and Andrew Gay (Dianely Reyes "Dee"); a daughter, Amanda White (Scott); four grandchildren, Heather Gay, Hayden White, Harper White, and Skylar Gay; a sister, Mary Ellen Ackerman; two sisters-in-law, Gail Plyler and Carol Gilbert; and brother-in-law, Alton Boone.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Billy Gay; two sisters, Frankie Phillips, and Margaret Boone; father and mother-in-law, James and Cleo Robinson; a sister-in-law, Sandra Lambert.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Randy will be 3:00 pm Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home. For those who wish, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
