LANCASTER, SC ~ Mr. Randolph "Randy" Claude Sims, age 61, passed away Monday, July 12, 2021.  He was born August 18, 1959 in Lancaster, a son of Claude Sims Sr. and the late Betty Mae Christmas Sims. Mr. Sims was an avid Gamecock Fan. He enjoyed horses, chickens, farming, and hunting. Mr. Sims had a "greenthumb" where he enjoyed his flowers. He loved history and watching the History Channel on TV. Mr. Sims's family will remember him as a very loving and giving brother and uncle.

Mr. Sims is survived by his father, Claude Sims Sr.; a brother, Claude Sims Jr. (Katrina); three sisters, Gail Galloway (George), Janie Adams (Donnie), and Janet Outen; and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Sims is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Mae Christmas Sims.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Sims will be 11:00 am Thursday, July 15, 2021 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Brad Threatt.  Entombment to follow at Lancaster Memorial Park Mausoleum.
