INDIAN LAND, SC ~ Phillip Welton Anglin, age 43, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 30, 2021 while on a family trip in Snowshoe, West Virginia. Phillip was born August 28, 1977 in Rock Hill, SC. He was the son of Jewell Ramsey Anglin and the late Bobby Lee Anglin and was the loving husband of Lauren Wilson Anglin. Phillip was a devoted father to two beautiful children, Jillian and Wil. He cherished his family and friends. Phillip loved Jesus and was a faithful member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church in Indian Land where he joyfully sang in the praise band with his daughter. Phillip was an avid sports fan and loved cheering for his son on the ball field; as well as, for the Carolina Panthers and the North Carolina Tarheels. Phillip was a valued employee for over 25 years at Possehl Connector Services where he was a Process Engineer.
Phillip is survived by his wife of 20 years, Lauren Anglin; his daughter, Jillian Anglin; his son, Wil Anglin; his mother, Jewell Anglin; two sisters, Elizabeth Anglin Marsh and Natalie Wade (Jeff); his mother-in-law, Maryanne Wilson; two brothers-in-law, Robert Wilson (Lori) and Joshua Wilson (Sui); six nieces, Holly Barnes (Andy), Adriana Wilson, Daniella Wilson, Gabriella Wilson, Kaia Wilson, and Jordan Wade; four nephews, Andrew Marsh (Bree), Matthew Granger (Carrie), Noah Wilson, and Matthew Wade; and many great nieces and nephews.
Phillip was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Lee Anglin; a sister, Pamela Anglin Thomas; and his father-in-law, Bobby Wilson.
The Celebration of Life Service for Phillip will be 11:00 am Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church officiated by Rev. Joel McMakin. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the burial at the graveside.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church for audio/video equipment for worship and online ministry, 238 Fort Mill Hwy., Indian Land, SC 29707. Social distancing will be practiced, and mask are required.
