LANCASTER, SC – Mr. Phillip Wayne Polston, age 62, entered into eternal rest peacefully on July 28, 2026. Born in California on June 10, 1964, he was the son of the late Ernest Polston, Sr and the late Robert and Frances Thomas Johnson.

Phil was a paramedic for Lancaster County for over 35 years and was also a training instructor for special ops. He enjoyed being a paramedic and helping others.

While he loved his work, Phil found his greatest happiness in the people and simple pleasures that surrounded him. He enjoyed watching movies, making decals and riding his motorcycle. He also enjoyed trips to the beach and the mountains.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory include his son Corey Polston, his daughter Cailin Polston, both of Lancaster, SC, and stepson, Chris Krause of Columbia, SC.

A private memorial service will be held at a later time.
